What she does
Most families meet Jacquie at a hard moment: a parent is moving, a house has been inherited, or a home lived in for forty years has to be emptied. She starts with the dates, walks the house, and looks at what is actually in it.
Not everything should be sold the same way. Some of it sells at an on-site estate sale. A collection or a standout piece usually does better at auction or with a specialist. The rest is kept by family, donated, or cleared. Jacquie sorts that out with the Poshlando team and then runs it.
She is a licensed auctioneer and leads the auction work herself when that is the right call. Estate-sale and auction planning is separate from formal appraisal, authentication, legal, and tax work — when a family needs one of those, it should go to the right qualified professional.
What she will not do is force a house, a collection, or a family into one answer because it is the easiest one to sell.
How she works with clients
- She wants to see the house before anything is cleared out. What gets thrown away first is often what would have sold.
- She will tell you when an estate sale is not worth running and what to do instead.
- Probate, out-of-state relatives, move dates and closing dates all change the plan. That is normal, and the schedule is part of the job.
When a project also involves the house itself, the personal property work and the real-estate work are coordinated but remain separate services. Real-estate services are handled through an appropriately licensed real-estate professional and brokerage.
