Authentic Pre-War Dinky Toys by Meccano Ltd – Made in England A wonderful trio of early British Dinky Toys dating to the late 1930s–early 1940s. These classic diecast vehicles were produced by Meccano Ltd in England and represent some of the earliest mass-produced collectible model cars. Included in this set: • Dinky Toys No. 30E Daimler (base stamped “Dinky Toys – Daimler – Made in England by Meccano Ltd”) • Early red delivery van (28 series style casting) • Blue loudspeaker advertising van with roof horn These models show heavy, honest play wear consistent with their 80+ year history, including paint loss, surface wear, and tire aging. All retain strong original cast detail and untouched patina. The Daimler base stamping is clearly visible and confirms authentic early production. These are being sold together as a vintage lot.
